400k Results Submitted and 600k Plans

Hi everyone,

The results from this past weekend's 400k are now posted and a couple of pictures can be found here, https://raleighrando.web.unc.edu/uncategorized/1148/

For the upcoming 600k, I drove the first 1/4 of the route (actually the first half since it's an out and back) out to Wade, NC. One detour is necessary just south of Angier, NC. Old Buies Creek Rd is closed and the detour may force us to ride on NC HW 55 for a few miles. I'm checking other route options in that area. 

I'll probably finish driving the rest of the route this Fri or Sat and stop in White Lake to look into a motel reservation for Sat, May 30th.

Given the light turnout for the 400k, and I don't want to discourage anyone, but how many people are interested in riding the 600K?

I suggesting you check this place out if you have time. I think it would cost effective, I rode by last week.

If there is interest and a few folks to ride with, I would consider the 600k. 

I considered the 400k, but thought I might be solo :)
