Upcoming August Event

Hi everyone,

The RUSA anniversary ride and cookout is coming up on Saturday, August 22nd. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, and the ride begins at 9:00 AM.

Brian L. and I will be doing a pre-ride this Saturday. Since Brian cannot make it on the day of the event and I need to be available to set up the grill, tables, and shop, anyone with a conflict on the 22nd is welcome to join our pre-ride this weekend.

Additionally, please let me know if you would like to volunteer to help with the event. Volunteers will receive a RUSA Audacious Volunteer patch or sticker. You're also welcome to join our ride this Saturday.

Excited for the event. 

Mass message I’ve been sending out:

“Heads up - 

Anicka and I are gonna get content from people in Durham and make a “cycling yearbook” so if you want to contribute stories, opinion pieces, anonymous hot takes, photos, etc. Also we’ll have the TVs at crank arm so you’ll be able to submit photos and videos for the TV. We’re making a Google form for all the categories but start thinking what you want in the yearbook now, if you wanna put your stuff in there or make suggestions for categories 

Will have end of season celebration at crank arm December 11 (tentative date but Adam says it should be good) where we’ll have the “yearbooks” for pickup”
