The first meeting in 2015 for the North Carolina Ginseng Association has been set for Thursday March 26, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

The meeting will take place at the Madison County Agricultural Extension office, 258 Carolina Lane, Marshall, NC 28753

•  Chris Watson’s County Sherriff’s questioner on Ginseng Poaching last fall (Robert)
  
• Commodity designation and dues (Cliff Riggs & Robert)
  
• NCNPA and the Ginseng Expo (Ed, Steven and Robert)
  
• Goggle Groups (Lauri)
  

New Business:  

1. Write-up on 2014 Ginseng season (Robert)
   
2. Putting “2014 Ginseng Season” on Goggle Groups (Lauri and Robert)
   
3. Licensing of ginseng harvesters in other states (email from US Fish & Wildlife Services, DC)
   
4. Requesting licensing of harvesters in NC petition to NCDA, the Legislature, NC Plant Conservation Board, the Plant Division (Robert & Lauri)
   
5. Election of Officers, (looking for a Treasurer if dues are collected) would be President, Vice President and Secretary . 
6. Potential liaisons from the Raleigh area:  Cliff Riggs?
