The awesome Meg12279 and her elmo/wolverine husband will be in town (raleigh) and she wants to get together for beers.  All are invited.  It'll probably be Friday, April 4th.  They like good beer, so does anyone know a good beer bar in raleigh?  I know Durham/Chapel Hill, but I know jack squat about R-town.  Suggestions?  Who wants to make it out?

My experience in Raleigh is sorely limited.  The only place I can recall is Tir Na Nog, where we had a good time after doing shows at Theatre in the Park.  I have no idea how it compares to other places, though.

I've heard some really good things about the Flying Saucer, and
honestly I've wanted to give it a try for awhile now. I've also been
to Tir Na Nog, though, and thought it was pretty damn good. Large
enough to support a big or small croud, too.

ok... The Flying saucer is supposed to be fratty as hell, BUT the other suggestions (Tir Na Nog, Times Bar, Rockford) seem to be expensive and less beer happy.  Lets just say Flying Saucer, April 4th, 8:30 Pm.

Who's in?

So, what's the etiquette about posting Fark Party threads? Is this
one serious enough to post, or is this just a "gathering"?

I was thinking that this is just a gathering... I think they'd get annoyed with us for continually posting parties :)  I do plan on posting our other gatherings when we have them, i.e. bulls games, franks fun park, etc etc.
