FXA Tuesday Casual Conference Football Managers,

 

As it stands right now, we have 63 football teams registered and paid for the Tuesday night, as well as 3-4 more teams on the waiting list.  Since the adult leagues can only play from 8pm - 11pm (or at some fields, 9pm - 11pm), we would have to run 11 fields each Tuesday night which isn't feasible for any adult league, and would be a logistical nightmare.

 

So with that said, there are 34 Casual Conference teams right now, and we need to move 12 teams to play on Sunday Nights this Spring on Turf Fields.  Can you please speak with your team, to persuade them play on Sunday Nights rather than Tuesday Nights?  We plan to play at EC Lawrence, Lake Fairfax 4, and/or Herndon HS Turf fields on Sunday Nights from 8pm - 11pm. 

 

Now, if we don't get the 12 teams to move to Sunday night, then most likely each team will have to play 2-3 games on a Wednesday or Thursday night during this season.

 

Please speak with your team ASAP, and let me know if they are able to play on Sunday Nights.

I'm okay with Sunday nights. If we have Wednesday/Thursday night games, I'm a maybe since I'm playing soccer those nights & it will depend where & when those games are.

We'll see what happens, but if they cant find 12 teams to play on Sunday.

 

Then we will be forced to have some of our games rotated to wed and/or thursday. I'm guessing 3 of our 8 games.
