Here's a quick little origami project that's fun to do with patterned paper: heart-shaped bookmarks that slip onto page corners. You could mail somebody a couple for Valentine's Day.
Each heart requires a half sheet of square origami paper. (My paper was 5" square, so my starting piece after cutting in half was a 5" x 2.5" rectangle.)
With the patterned side to the outside, fold the rectangle in half lengthwise.
Then fold it in half width-wise to mark the center line, and open again.
Fold one side up at a 45 degree angle, so the edge aligns with the center.
Repeat with the other side.
Turn the paper over. Fold the top downward. You can eyeball this; about 1/3 of the top section gets folded down.
Fold in the corners to form a heart shape. The little pocket at the bottom can fit over page corners if you use this as a bookmark.
Hi!! I tried . . . it came out beautiful, but I must be doing something wrong since the final result is a heart with a slit in the middle . . . I'm thinking of gluing a little circle to join both flaps; if not, it does not remain on the page. Thanks for sharing.
I have a folder for each of the sub-areas in my game and I'm having trouble figuring out how to move the page bookmark to a page that's within a folder (or moving the marker out of the folder to a top-level page).

insert Previous or Next page number does not work. I want to have folios of "Pages 1 and 2" where I need to have the next page#. Inserting a marker (previous page or Next page results in the current page number.
OK. So... how do I fix this? I have to set up previous page numbering in master pages. What's the solution here?? The right side page 24 and page 26 are correct with previous page numbering, but the left side just uses the current page. There's no way for me to touch the previous page text frame in a on the left side master page (is there??)
Admin, I think you misunderstand the issue. We are not referring to the way you can continue text from one text frame to another. We are talking about the issue where you might have a 200-page book and you want page numbers but you don't want the cover included in the page number. ie: cover (no number) next page (page 1). The Insert Special Character > Markers > Next Page Number (IT DOESNT SHOW "NEXT PAGE NUMBER" AT ALL, IT SHOWS CURRENT PAGE NUMBER on the document you are working on)
There is a workaround. Create an extra text frame on the page you want to refer to and link both text frames together. Then the Next page number will work es expected. But the second text frame must be placed on the next page. You can place both linked text frames in page template, it will work. Annoying, stupid, very slow, but at least it works for a spread.
All shipping materials are fully recyclable. Upon unboxing, please remove the stickers and flatten the shipping box and place it in the recycling bin. Page numbers are a must while working on large documents. You can add a page number marker that updates automatically. As you add, remove, or rearrange pages in the document, the page number updates accordingly. You can also format and style page number markers.
Use the Numbering & Section Options dialog box to changethe page numbering style to use a different format. You can alsouse this dialog box to restart page numbering or to start page numberingat a number you specify.
I've set up page numbering on a long document by the method of Type > Insert Special Character > Marker and it didn't work very well because the numbering is on "back" layer and subsequently numbers are hidden behind on pages with multiple layers (even when I try to send all layers to the back). I would like to delete the markers with one click but I cannot figure out how to do this. Also, if you have a better method of page numbering, I'd love to hear about it.
If you placed the page number markers on the master page (as you should), they will be behind any items created on the document page (as you have found), but send-to-back and bring-to-front are only relavent to the layer that they are on. If you open the Layers pallet (Window>Layers), you can create layers and place them above or below the layer that your document-page items are on. Make a new layer, make sure it's above the one you have now, and place your page markers on the master page on tha

Just select them and you will see a colored dot to the right of the layer that they are on. Just drag that dot to the higher layer, and the selected items will move to that layer.
Here is another thought.. you can validate that in your Web Page level, and then redirect the user to another page. So basically your details page would be a bridge to decide which final page to go to, this means you would have 3 pages in total.
Quick question, what is different in your pages? Are you rendering perhaps a different Entity Form? if you, you can point your Web Page to a custom Page Template/custom Web Template and in there you can validate the Web Role and call a specific Entity Form by name according to the Web Role.
