Hi everyone,
EIC applications are out (and due this Sunday!), which means we also need to form a search committee.
Search committee is the group that interviews EIC candidates in the week leading up to elections. They'll ask the candidates questions and present their findings along with a recommendation on who to choose on election night. It's a great way to have some input on the future of NBN, and it's also a chance to learn more about the EIC application process (I was on search committee my freshman year and it definitely helped me when I applied for EIC)!
Search committee members will have to be present for the interviews with each candidate (should take about an hour per interview) next week. If you want to be a part of search committee, email me and the committee head, Sophia Lo (CC'd) by Friday, May 15 with a brief statement on why you're interested in joining. We'll be sending out a When2Meet to get your availability once the committee is finalized. You don't need to be a current staff member to join search committee!
