svn vs. git

we had some trouble with svn and moving files/dirs in our repository
using eclipse...
so as alternative played around with git for a small rails project and
it worked well :)

but of course i love my lovely netbeans as environment.
so nbgit would be a helpful plugin for netbeans, as CLI with git is
usually no alternative.

so long, we'll use svn and are not going along with rails community
mainstream (as they often use git).

if there is any progress with nbgit, would be glad to be one of the
first testers, maybe we can migrate svn2git anytime ...
