Hi all,
Not sure if all of you are following the EAC Google group, I decided to forward this to our group.
Summary: go to http://dev.cnvc.org give feedback about the new CNVC website (not public yet, they are working on it) within a week or two.
They have given a whole new look to the website, that I don’t like, and I told them so. If you agree, please tell them so, too!
One of the things I do like is the possibility of registering practice groups (not just individuals).
Warmly,
Joakim Svahn

Over the last six months we have been working on an upgraded site for
cnvc.org. We took into account
the feedback about our current site we
received from many of you and current research on effective web site
design. We are now ready for your input, suggestions and feedback, and
would like to receive that input in the next two weeks. After we take
your input into account, and transfer upcoming training course
information from the old site, this new site will become www.cnvc.org.
Along with the software upgrade, the site is undergoing a substantial
re-design with the following objectives in mind:
1. Bring the look and feel of the site up to date.
2. Rewrite much of the copy on the "front pages" of the web site to
present a friendly, clear, and consistent voice.
3. Present the information in web style writing, that takes into
account that people do not read web pages; so the most important
information is delivered right on the top of the page. Then, more
information is added in layers as a user scrolls down the page. Most
important detailed information will have at least three layers of
information.
4. Increase simplicity by reducing the number of menu items and pages
visible to those who first come to the site or for those who are only
coming to check trainings and access the bookstore.
5. Provide valuable learning tools to encourage people to sign up and
join our online community.
6. Provide access to Governance pages and meetings to people who join
our online community.
7. Replace our old Training Course application with one that provides
a more comfortable layout and allows for online registration, and gives
you registration management tools. The registration process supports
different currencies. Please check out the new application by clicking
schedule under the training tab after you have logged in, as only
Certified Trainers can create trainings. It would be very helpful if you
would create a training with the new application and let me know if you
run into any problems.
We will ask all interested to take a look at the work and make comments
and suggestions before the site goes live. Your help will be greatly
appreciated.
You can access the site by going to http://dev.cnvc.org
<http://dev.cnvc.org/>
.
The best way to give feedback is to leave your comments at the bottom of
each page. First log in using the same username and password you are
using at www.cnvc.org. If
the password does not work, use the
"Request New Password" link, above the text that says "User
account".
If your feedback is not directly related to a particular page, please
use the feedback form at:
