Hug a Tree event coming up

The Lynchburg Parks and Recreation will host a huge event on Saturday, April 29, from 3:00 - 8:00 pm to celebrate the outdoors, nature, and the environment. They would love for NBATC members to attend. The event will feature a Guinness World Record attempt for the World's Largest Tree Hug, as well as an after-party festival including live music, food trucks, performances, vendors, and free activities/demos for attendees.

They will reserve a table/booth for our club to set up our displays so that the people can stop and learn about what we do. There's no charge to do so, and no catch. This would be a perfect fit for us since our missions are aligned, which focus on preservation, conservation, and appreciation of the environment and the outdoors. So, you are encouraged to come to this event and bring as many people as you can. They need at least 1.500 people to break the record. More details will follow later.
