Joint Club Hike: Saturday January 13th
Join this Saturday’s Joint Club Hike with members of the Roanoke A.T. Club! NBATC Hike leader, Jeff Monroe, will explore the old A.T. on Cove Mountain. We will carpool (share $4) from Forest Square S.C. at 8:30 to meet up with the hike leader and members of the Roanoke Club at the trailhead…the footbridge over Jennings Creek. Please contact Jeff ( monro...@gmail.com ) to let him know you will be joining the hike. NOTE: This hike is rated Moderate to Strenuous with some bushwhacking.
Special (Slow Pace Hike): Sunday January 14th
Join Hike Leader’s, Norman & Jinx Sykora, on a special “Slow Pace” hike at the Mount Pleasant/Pompey Trail, renamed in honor of Henry Lanum. We will carpool (share $4) from Madison Heights Lowe’s/Goodwill at 9 AM. Please contact Norman or Jinx at 434-946-7084 to let them know you will be joining the hike.
