The Homosexual Question

The Peshitta / Bible gives us the answers to the questions of homosexuality, without us having to formulate our own personal opinions on the subject... Paul condems homosexual prostitution (Romans 1:26–27) and Levitucus condemns laying with men as with women (Leveticus 18:22, 20:13); Jesus says that he has not seen such a faith as that of a possibly homosexual Roman officer who came to Him to beg him to heal his man-servant (Matthew 8:10, Luke 7:9); and the strong familial and loving relationship of David and Johnathan is blessed by God (1st Samuel 18:1, 2nd Samuel 1:26). Without claiming that any of these men were specifically homosexuals, the scriptures do paint a clear picture of how men who born as homosexuals or trained to be so, can live righteous lives; which is of course the same thing all Christians must seek to do.
Homosexuality is a medical condition that encourages people to sin. Much like alcoholism is a medical condition that encourages people to sin. We must take care to pray for and love to all people, regardless of their shortcomings. I encourage everyone to pray for those who are outcasts and for the conversion of the souls of those who are suffering.
