I hope you and all you serve have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I will
pray for you and your fellowship.
It seems my departure from the prior church has them circling their
wagons. And the Catholicos' own cousin wrote from Israel to chasten me,
and to try and answer for his actions and prior affiliations which,
shall I say, do not befit an Orthodox believer of any Rite.
So it seems I am being observed even still, very sad.
I am hoping for some good dialogue between us and a working
association between our two ministries.

Dear +Kenat'el,

It is very sad that there can be such a spirit of control...I think it is
one of the enemies favorite tools to cause division and real injury, setting
back growth in the body.

I too had a similar situation some years ago, and you are unfortunately
right, they do tend to watch with scrutiny. I recieved also the letters of
correction and so on. At the time I was younger in my priesthood, and it was
a very hurtful and confusing time. "Ecclesial" force can be used so
wrongly, and to a younger cleric, it can take years to recover.

Surely this is why our Lord spoke through the prophet, " I will raise up
sheperds after My own Heart, who will sheperd my people wisely".

The phenomenal growth of the whole independent and house church movement is
to me a direct result of Gods intervention, during a time of curruption in
some of the larger church's. I know that His example was one of profound
humility and servanthood. Would to God that we would all grow more in this
simplicity and virtue. I suppose that we are to be more that way also, so
that the people who come to us need not be afraid, but very natural and
comfortable in a real family, church community environment.

I give Him great thanks for you and your family as well on this special
feast of Thanksgiving. I know He will prosper you in all your efforts, as
you continue to draw closer to Him and His precious Souls.

May the Holy Patriarchs and Prophets be your constant intercessors, as this
"great cloud of witness'" cheers us on in the race.
