Bluetooth on Oudie 2 or Oudie IGC

Anybody using an Oudie 2 or Oudie IGC connected to a FLARM (or SoftRF) via Bluetooth?  Once set up correctly, does it reconnect automatically for future flights, or do you have to manually perform several steps each time to connect?  See here for instructions on initial connection via "Classic (SPP) Bluetooth" (not Bluetooth LE):
