Does the Obstacle database in Oudie N work in the USA?

A few days ago, when I updated my Oudie N, I noticed an Obstacle Database being loaded. Does it work in the US, and can you see what it does without flying with it?

Hi Eric,

I have asked for clarification from Naviter.  If I remember correctly, Andrej told me at the SSA Convention that the new obstacle database covers the USA.  I think that's great, because FLARM obstacle databases have never covered the USA.  I'll let you know what I find-out from Naviter.

"World-wide obstacles database is included in the latest version 3.3.3+2599 (released yesterday), including the USA."

Thanks, Paul, I'm glad to hear that the US finally gets included. I don't see any warnings on the map, but maybe they only appear when you are flying.

This morning, my Oudie N spent considerable time installing a weather related update for 3.3.3+2599 - what's that about?
