New U.S. Tariffs

Hi,

You may have heard that the U.S. government is proposing tariffs of 20%+ on items from the E.U. This will, of course, impact the market prices of items from LXNAV, Naviter, FLARM, Winter, Trig, DG, etc. In addition, today the U.S. dollar has taken a bit of a dive when compared to the Euro. That will also increase prices for soaring items from Europe.

I have good stock levels of many soaring instruments. I promise to sell current stock at current prices. I won't raise prices until new imports with higher costs are received. I plan to mark currently stocked items so I will know they were purchased at the pre-tariff prices.

That said, right now is a very good time to buy a soaring instrument. Of course, current prices only apply to items that are in stock. Items that need to be ordered will likely be impacted by the new tariffs and changes in currency exchange rates. If you were considering the purchase of a variometer or FLARM unit - the phase "when they're gone, they're gone" applies to the stock at current prices - so you may want to order ASAP.
