Mentally Handicap Child Slapped in School

Dear All,   Today I came across such a ridiculous act by the Aashray Trust based in Sector-7 Sanpada, Near Sanpada Church.   Aashray School in Sec-7 Sanpada has been charged by a parent for ill treatment of M.R students in there campus.   Today a incident wherein a Autistic student was slapped by the school staff, just because he was trying to get his school bag.   When we questioned the school authorities they replied "It is not an easy task to handle M.R students and slapping a child is not a big deal. Such things are normal".   It was further more shocking that the principal said that " If one is not o.k. with the handling of the child, better they can search a new school".   An FIR has been filed against the school staff, but it will not punish the management of the school who still support the act by their staff. This is just an example of how poorly trained the school teachers and management are! Most of the teachers in India are literate but 'UNEDUCATED'.   Things will not change much unless the stringent action is taken against such authorities.

Yes, we Indians are only Degree holders , not Educated/Cultured, which is imparted at Home right from childhood. Alas, for this too, Parents should be Educated/Cultured !
