Kabbalat Shabbat this Friday, with Daphna and Yoel, April 17 at 6 pm
Friday, Rosh Chodesh Iyar | April 17 at 6 pm | Spitzer Hall, 1 Asher St.
Dear friends,
By a blessed coincidence, this week’s Kabbalat Shabbat will truly feel like “renew our days as of old.” Dov and Rabbi Nava are leading a journey through Jewish communities in the United States, and Daphna was meant to join Rabbi Ruth to lead Kabbalat Shabbat in Jerusalem. Then, unexpectedly, the skies opened and Yoel flew in for a visit in honor of his grandfather’s 100th birthday—Yitzchak Zohar, the oldest member of Nava Tehila!
Mazal tov to Saba Yitzchak, to Yoel, to Nava and Israel Sykes, and to all of us who are blessed to witness such longevity.
Together with our Levite Circle, we will gather this Friday at 18:00 at the Spitzer Hall, 1 Asher Street, Jerusalem.
After the service: a community kiddush generously sponsored by Naomi Roth and Adi Futerman.
