Due to the fact that because of my eyesight problem I have to get my
wife to do my typing for me and as she has had a few health problems
as well as being kept busy with Christmas shopping, entertaining and
minding grandsons I have not been able to get this posted earlier. My
apologies.
Nevetheless, we would both like to extend our very best wishes and
hope that 2008 will be a great sailing year for you all.
There are a few new photos in the process of being added into our
website. These show the boats off in their best performance in 12-15
knot winds. Note my lovely new boat, KZ23. It seems to perform with
that X-factor.
Racing today saw Jim Brown and Nev Beetson sharing the wins with Bob
having one win and Robbie not far behind. Maurice finished up in
fourth place.
We are all getting together on January 28th at the Auckland
Anniversary Regatta down at the Viaduct Basin, racing off the old
Alinghi base where there will be thousands of people walking around.
The one-metres will be racing there as well. We are looking at
finalising a date for our class championship, probably some time in
March.
