We are planning to start the New year as something a bit different we
are planing on have two (2) state championships this year. One will be
on a week day probably a wednesday in June and the other will be on a
Saturday in September.

If you're interested in entering either or both you will have to a
member or the Nautic 12 Asociation in your favourite country.

Here we are after successfully completing the Trans Tasman Event
between our two countries . A first in itself, is something you
should all be very proud of. These special sort of things don't happen
too much in this sport and we should celebrate it far and wide for the
huge efforts that were put in. I salute all involved.

And I exhort you all not to sit on our laurels at this point but to
move on in our quest to further this class in NZ and Australia. We
have shown we could do this and do it with STYLE. So Guys we don't
have to prove anything, the opposition is NEAR ZERO.

Maverrick has been playing fast and loose. I told this twerp to buzz
off . I asked if anyone was interested in talking about sailing with
us , I got no takers so I with drew that offer. Any suggestions on how
we move forward on our getting new boats for the class , would be
appreciated. We will be sailing next saturday at Scarborough Park .
We will be having a meeting before we start because we have some
positive things to talk about. , stay tuned.

Well; we had that new club sailing with us on last saturday from
Canberra . it came down in buckets and the pond filled up with
rubbish . so much so that we abandoned sailing and went to Maccas.

The most unexciting thing I do is read my own posts. If this is all
thats happening then lets forget it?

It was bound to happen ? The boys said that they wanted to sail
Wednesdays as well as Saturdays. All the boats are going well and they
seem competitive with each other. I think the Wednesday deal should
prove popular for it is so much different to the other sailing day.

We had a problem when we sailed at that other venue in the Harbour on
Wednesdays. For sometimes they wouldn't put the bouys out or wouldn't
sail , etc. Whereas here at our venue the bouys are in place 24/7 and
we don't need a rowing boat to fetch, which saves us all this sort of
organizing stuff. And of course putting the stuff away after.

Hairoil 's boat is taking water. We gave it the eyeball and found
that he had scrunched the knob on the front of the keel and a crack
had formed about 1" long. He reckons that he will put a bit of mat and
resin over it. Obviously he's hit a few bullrushes from time to time,
to do this, along with the odd rock wall??

A valuable lesson was learned the other day about Vertigrease. He
said there wasn't much there! but there was enough on all the plugs to
add up to one large DNS. One dose of Toothbrush and Metho will
generally fix it and you can finish the bottle with some condenced
milk added, called a "white knight" (more like good night Irene) , I
believe?

Well Have a happy Xmas , you lot. Nothing like a bit of Xmas cheer of
seeing the Kiwis are still having trouble playing cricket!! Thanks
Nev for the help this year . we would ask you not to try so hard next
year. Allan has my 280d winch in his boat for awhile. I hear his 380
tore 5 teeth off.

Well Wednesday is proving very popular and we are taking to it like a
duck to water. Talking about water , Bob(KA13) has been having a spot
of bother of late. He reckons he is looking for someone (that chinese
fella ) to rewire his boat. Well he was on instructions to see the
comodore each day before he left the sailing site after his
'mishaps" . Anyway last week he went in to the water to retrieve his
boat and then went straight home ... again. He reckons he took it to
the local hobby store and "they fixed it". Well not to put too finer
point on it , we asked him to show us his Reciever, for he said the
reciever was heating up after about 30 minutes. Most people know that
this signafies that there is some "green stuff" in the workings
somewhere.

Sure enough the reciever pins where the servos connect in were green.
Not only green but loaded (so much for the hobby shop). we clean it
all out and gave him more instructions about maintenance. Like using
Metho etc.

And an amazing thing happened , Bob was able to sail the full day for
the first time since he started to" go home before he saw the
Comodore".

This Web page is pretty dumb. Nobody writes and I 'm the only one that
puts anything up. I 've got other things to do than talk to myself.

You're all quite happy to let this web forum fall over? You could at
least say Happy new year or kiss my b** all I care but at least we
would know you're still breathing. I know I'm still doing things to
help the sport of Nautic 12s but what are you mongrels doing??? beside
NOTHING. If you think this is going to run with none of your
input,,,,,,,,,it isn't.

Well here is the crunch! I can't direct people to this web page to
show a vibrant class if you Galoots don't put anything up? I can't do
anything either, if I talk to myself 24/7 with no input from you. A
certain bloke is asking for more sales but even he won't say Boo. ARE
YOU PEOPLE TRYING TO KEEP IT A SECRET??

The reason you got out of Kiwi Talk was you wanted to do your own
thing. Except you didn't explain , your own thing was NIL
participation. At least on Kiwi talk you were helping (providing the
impedous) to kiwi talk.

By selling all these second hand Nautics you seem to be wanting to get
out of Nautic 12s. Should we in Australia be thinking about going for
the other boat? Well nothing is happening on your side. If it is
happening , how come your not telling us about it and how come there
is nothing on the Nautic forum?

Well I just come from the NZ Nautic 12 WEB PAGE sailing program. Well
it says it all!! One regatta , not for Nautic 12 but all 12s. No
events for the Nautics at all. This must be a typo, I thought? Its
that you have already left but didn't turn off the lights. Thanks for
nothing.
