Whats happened to all you nautic12 skippers in Aussie? has all your
water dried up? or have you all gone into hybernation being the middle
of winter??.You are all missing out on new happenings within our
organisation, we now have a new cut of sails, now allowed prebend in
our masts, Rob Mack is developing his vector rig with great success.
Are you making any progress over there ? if so it would be great to
hear about it. Cheers Browny

well said Browny The only way for the class to move forward is to
keep developing ideas within the rules and to show the public that we
are a vibrant organization As i said before the more we are seen the
more we will grow that is why i am happy to confirm we will again have
a place in the Aniversary regatta in 2009 In N Z we should allso
follow Australias lead and embrace all 12 meter classes under 1
organization.A question for thoes out there Half size nautic 12 for
thoes that find the nautic to large and to appeal to a wider group of
boaties GOOD IDEA OR BAD U tell me.Rob mcpherson Nautic 12 Publicity

Half sized Nautic12 ? what sort of nonsense is that ?? there is no end to
the types of r/c yacht out there find one that suits you and sail into the
sunset, but i would rather you not stuff up a perfectly good design just
cause you find it to big. What ever you do keep this subject away from your
wives.........or else half of you may find your self redundant due to
certain objects may be the wrong size.

obviously a poor idea to finally get some action on the website I tell
you i am getting tired of posting to myself.I understand that
Australia has not payed there power bill so no one in aus has power to
run ther computers Rob Mcpherson Nautic 12 Publicity Officer

Whats your problem Macca? Can't find enough new recruits or haven't
you been looking? We're looking but you're not helping with your
constant "patter". You keep signing Publicity Officer.... but what is
the publicity you're doing? Can we use the publicity that you're
suppose to be putting out? So Macca , pray tell , just what are you
doing for the class and can we see the results in any time in the near
future?

We on the other hand are working on it, here. We are trying different
things, to see what is effective. We are going through one of the
coldest winters in many years but we still seem to get people coming
and watching, so we have contacts. But as I said we are working on it.
Yes we do have some in our club who do have other boats. But we feel
that the class can stand having them about for it will help our class
in the long run to have a working knowledge of other classes in the
12 metre range. We think it is called "Publicity".

I have no problem I salute your endevers to get other 12meter classes
along to the pond and read with interest your 12 meter colum on
maverics site.I allso have been trying to include other 12 meter
classes but so far have had no takers from the ec 12s etc.As for my
publicity activities 1 inclusion in the single largest 1 day regatta
as an official class is but 1 thing i have been doing Arranging
sponsership for our clubs winter regatta and allso the match racing
series is another Having on going discussions on this site about what
is allowable within in the rules is allso anotherBut then again i am
sure this pales into insignificance next to your outstanding
accomplishments As for signing off Nautic 12 Publicity Officer that is
the position i hold in nz and i am not affraid to let people know whom
i am unlike some

have mentioned. If they bear fruit we will tell you, all I can say now
that is is looking pretty good.We ran up a few dead -ends but that is
how it goes at times.

we are currently finishing off a boat to display at variouse shops
around auckland to try as a promotion vehicle this boat will allso be
available for prospective owners to try.I am allso still hopefull that
one day we will be able to have a combined regatta with the ec12s I am
currently rebuilding my ec12 to race at next years nationals and off
