8 Nautic 12's took part in the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta,
yesterday Monday 28 January at the Auckland Viaduct Basin (site of the
America's Cup syndicates).

Nine races were held with Neville Beetson KZ23 winning overall with 10
points. Trevor McFarlane KZ3 came second with 19 points and third
equal was shared by Dave Liddle KZ10 and Peter Ireland KZ6.

It was a beautiful Auckland summer day with a 10-14 knots of SW
breeze. Sailing started at 10:45 and was completed at 3:30. Great to
take part in what is one of the world's largest one day regattas. Out
on the harbour there were yachts of all different classes from the
classic A class keelers to the little Optimist dinghies. Heritage
sailing ships also took part. A wonderful spectacle to see.
