Dancer and Guru Shubha Dhanajay's proposed visit to Seattle

One of my very good dancer friends from Portland (Yashaswini Raghuram) reached out to me regarding her Guru(Shubha Dhananjay's) proposed visit to the US this year. She is planning on performing and conducting workshops in different parts of the US including Seattle. Below is a note from her regarding this. Dear Dance Teachers, 

Smt. Shubha Dhananjay, a renowned artiste from Bangalore, India is on a tour in the USA and will be visiting Seattle between March 6th and March 11th. 

She is not only a magnanimous teacher, but also a fantastic performer and a highly creative choreographer. An accomplished Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer, the many accolades that have come her way still do not suffice to hold light to her achievements! A much sought after dancer, she is  one of the few who still practices the Perini Nritya ( dancing on the pot ). A detailed bio is attached with this email.  

After her successful US trip in 2015, I am happy to share that she is returning this march for yet another tour in the USA. This time she will be accompanied by her beautiful and very talented dancer daughters Maya Dhananjay and Mudra Dhananjay. 

As a pert of her tour, She is interested in conducting workshops in Seattle this year. The workshop can be for both intermediate level dances (those who have learnt till jatiswaram/shabdam) and also for senior dancers/teachers/performers . The dates for her Seattle visit are March 6th 2017 to March 11th 2017

. The fees for intermediate is 150$ and for seniors is 250$. Interested dance teachers can contact Yashaswini ( Shubha Dhananjay's student in portland) for more details. 

The workshop items are dependent on what item the students and the teachers would like to learn :)
