I got an email from Indira Kadambi on their proposed US tour this year with free workshops both Dance and Music to launch and promote e-ambalam.

Hope all is well there. 

 

Tomorrow is our visa interview.  I was just keen to know from you at the earliest about Free workshop.- (One day - 2 hours each level - basic, intermediate and advance) - 

Intensive workshop could happen even during week days too. During week days, when we are free, Both ram and myself could conduct workshops for intermediate and advance level students.It is open for all schools. But it will be a paid workshop. I could conduct Abhinaya and nattuvangam workshop. For one composition( Padam, Javali or devaranama), It will be 250$ with Music. Nattuvangam will be 25$ an hour. If there are basic level students who are very keen on improving their basics right, I would be happy to guide them on adavus and teach them a kauthvam or something.  Let me know what is your feed back and possibilities on this.

 

Ram could teach krithis and manodharama aspects in Karnatic music depending on the level of students. we could have a thematic learning too. Like they could learn devaranamas, pancharatna, dikshitar krithis, etc.,

 

If music teachers could contact us, we could give more info on that.

If you are not able to arrange, we completely understand. But for anything, just send a email please asap.

This is with reference to our previous communication with you regarding the lec-dem/workshops of T.V. Ramprasadh and Indira Kadambi at the USA/Canada during mid August to mid November, 2013.

Please find attached the tentative schedule of their tour.

Do  let us know if you have any timeframe in mind for hosting and coordinating the same in your city in the dates available or closest to them.
