Chihuahua Beach
A natural environment of sand, sea, forests and the stream, is the
Chihuahua Naturist Beach or Chihuahua Nudist Beach. A destination
recommended for those who love nature.
This area has a temperate climate during all seasons and that due to
the climatic changes the cold is every time smaller, reaching
,occasionally, temperatures of 25° C in winter . This allows to
lengthen the season of use of the beach.
Unique is the great variety of wild birds at the river "El Potrero ":
herons, storks, ducks, blacknecked swans and many others singing at
dusk. A paradise for the bird watching. The river "El Potrero" arises
from the " Sauce Lagoon" which is supplied with water from the
surrounding mountain ranges. A place that is conserved ecologically
clean.
This place is located only a few minutes from the international
airport of "Punta del Este", 15 minutes from cities like Piriápolis,
Maldonado and Punta del Este, that offer all kinds of facilities of
entertainment (casinos, commercial centers, cinema, etc.), without
disturbing the tranquility and the calm of the remote locations.
It is a naturist beach that invites the visitor to practice nudism in
harmony with nature, in place reigned by the respect towards the other
ones and the rules of this place, for example that families get in
touch with people of all ages in an natural and open minded way.
At the moment between 2000 and 3000 naturists visit the beach
regularly, where nudism is traditionally practiced since the 1960´s.
In the year 2000 was declared as an official clothing-optional beach by
the Maldonado municipal administration.
During the time before the beach became an official nudist beach,
nudists had been pursued and in many cases imprisoned. Because of this
reason they created the Naturist Association of Uruguay (Auden). Today
it exists more than 10 years as a legal entity, supported by all the
members.
During many years it worked in an comprehensive way, keeping the
anonymity of the members, with the purpose of getting the legality to
practice naturism in Chihuahua Beach.
In 1994 it was possible form the Association and to constitute it on
a legal foundation.
Today, it counts on the support of the administration of Maldonado,
which during the summer maintains the cleaning of the beach and
provides a lifeguard for looking after the security of the swimmers. It
also relies on the security of the coastguard of Maldonado that carries
out journeys for the beach several times per day during the season,
aimed at watching over the coast and the maintenance of the good
customs at this place.
During the summer of the years 2000/2001 about five hundred meters were
subtracted off the naturist area, because of complaints of neighbours
that didn't accept nudism.
In the face of such an injustice, Auden, together with the whole nudist
population that converges to Chihuahua, claimed for the restitution of
those meters and for opening new possibilities for the practice of
nudism in the Uruguayan coast. In the year 2006 the claimed section was
returned by the Municipality of Maldonado.
It's important to demonstrate to the authorities and the private
investors that nudism is a great business, contrarily to the opinion
some real estate, and that nudism doesn't harm the place and doesn't
lower the prices of the land, which is at this moment undervalued.
In fact, the values of the land in Chihuahua oscillate from 10 US $
up to 100 US $ per squaremeter according to the vicinity with the sea.
The parcels of lands have a minimum size of 1000 squaremeters, there
is them tree-lined with the pines, near the sea and also to the river.
These days the construction of a house, made of bricks, wood and tiles,
costs about 300 US $ per cubic meter. A good negotiation can cut these
prices much more. The place is completely virgin and suits for lodging
offers, gastronomic places etc..
The only and unique naturist place to be accommodated only a few meters
from ChihuahuaBeach is called "El Refugio".
It is its appreciated for its familiar atmosphere and visited by
friends of naturism from Brazil, Argentina, Canada, USA and also from
Europe. It is a great large house, with many rooms, where Marcela and
Ricardo, the owners, who are naturists themselves, welcome their guests
and friends from that come all over the world.
Furthermore Ricardo and Marcela offer them the option of having lunch
and dinner. They serve delicious homemade pastas and other natural
plates in the family circle.
The visitors have the optional possibility to practice nudism inside
the property ,with the limitation of respecting the ethic principles of
naturism, (only while crossing the public street to the beach it is
required to clothe oneself). They can relish the comforts of a rural
house in an environment that allows to enjoy the beach without
necessity of using any transport.
The rooms possess a plain natural style, each with its own bathroom,
and all essential furniture. They all offer a widely view to the
scenery.

En un entorno natural de arenas,mar, bosques y arroyo se encuentra la
Playa Naturista Chihuahua o playa nudista Chihuahua. Un destino
obligado para aquellos que aman la naturaleza.Esta zona cuenta con un
clima templado de cuatro estaciones y que debido a los cambios
climáticos el frío es cada vez menor, alcanzando ,ocasionalmente,
temperaturas de 25°en invierno . Esto permite alargar la temporada de
uso de la playa.Es importante destacar la gran variedad de aves
silvestres que hay a orillas del arroyo "El Potrero " : garzas,
cigüeñas, patos, cisnes de cuello negro etc. etc .y el impactante
sonido que éstas emiten al atardecer. Un verdadero paraíso para los
amantes del avistamiento de aves !.El arroyo" El Potrero " es el
desagüe de la "Laguna del Sauce"que a su vez se alimenta del agua que
baja de las sierras.todo el lugar se conserva ecológicamente limpio.
El lugar está ubicado a minutos del aeropuerto internacional de Punta
del Este, a 15 minutos de ciudades como Piriápolis, Maldonado y Punta
del Este, con todo lo que implica en cuanto a posibilidades de
esparcimiento (casinos, centros comerciales, cines,etc), pero sin
embargo, logrando preservar el silencio y la calma de los lugares
alejados del ruido.
Es una playa naturista que invita al visitante a comulgar el nudismo
con la naturaleza, en el lugar reina el respeto hacia los demás y los
asiduos del lugar, entre las que se encuentran familias con integrantes
de todas las edades buscan un contacto natural con el entorno.playachi

Si bien en esta playa se viene practicando el nudismo desde la década
del 60,según cuentan personas que hoy día rondan los 80 años, ésta
fue recién oficializada en el año 2000 como playa naturista
opcional.por la Intendencia Municipal de Maldonado.
Desde la década del 60 los nudistas han sido perseguidos y en muchos
casos puestos en prisión hasta que la playa se hizo oficial,
habiéndose creado la Asociación Uruguaya de Naturismo,(Auden),que
hoy cuenta con mas de 10 años de existencia, su personería jurídica
y el apoyo incondicional de todos sus miembros.
Durante muchos años la misma trabajó en forma anónima y denodada
con el fin de conseguir la legalidad de la práctica del naturismo en
la playa Chihuahua A partir del año 1994 se logró dar forma a la
Asociación, constituirla con todo el marco legal .
Hoy día, cuenta con el apoyo de la Intendencia de Maldonado, que,
durante el verano ,coloca baños,mantiene la limpieza de la playa y
destina un guardavidas con el fin de velar por la seguridad de los
bañistas. También se cuenta con la permanente presencia de la
Prefectura de Maldonado, que realiza varias veces por día durante la
temporada, un recorrido por la playa con el afán de vigilar la costa y
el mantenimiento de las buenas costumbres del lugar.
Durante el verano del año 2000/ 2001, y a causa de quejas de vecinos
que no aceptaban el nudismo, se le restaron unos quinientos metros a la
zona naturista Ante tal injusticia, Auden, junto con toda la población
nudista que concurre a Chihuahua, reclamaron por la restitución de
esos metros y asimismo para que se abran nuevas posibilidades para la
práctica del nudismo en la costa uruguaya.En el año 2006 los 500m
reclamados son devueltos por el nuevo Municipio de Maldonado.
Es importante resaltar a las autoridades y a los inversores privados
de que el nudismo es un gran negocio , contrariamente a lo que opinan
algunas inmobiliarias , y que el nudismo no perjudica la zona ni
hace bajar los precios de los terrenos , en este momento
infravaloraras.
En efecto, los valores de los terrenos en Chihuahua oscilan entre
u$s10 el mt2 hasta u$s120 el mt2, de acuerdo a su cercanía con el
mar.,Las parcelas de terrenos son de 1000 mts como mínimo ,los hay
arbolados con pinos ,cerca del mar y también del arroyo.
En cuanto el costo de la construcción rondaría los u$s300 el metro
cuadrado en ladrillos madera y tejas.En operaciones importantes ,una
buena negociación puede hacer que estos valores bajen aún mas. El
lugar esta totalmente virgen en cuanto a ofertas de alojamiento
,lugares gastronómicos ,etc..
El único lugar Naturista para albergarse a metros de la Playa
Chihuahua, es una casa de familia llamada " El Refugio" Esta vivienda
familiar es visitada por amigos naturistas procedentes de Brasil,
Argentina, CAnadá, Estados Unidos y también de Europa.Se trata de una
gran casona , con muchas habitaciones, donde Marcela y Ricardo, sus
propietarios , además de naturistas , reciben a sus amigos,
procedentes de los mas variados lugares del mundo: Brasil, Argentina,
Canadá, USA, y Europa.Ricardo y Marcela les ofrecen, además, la
opción de comer en su casa, en su comedor quincho donde cocinan
sabrosas pastas caseras, amasadas por ellos mismos,y otros platos
naturales, rodeados de toda la familia.
Sus visitantes cuentan con la posibilidad de vestimenta opcional
dentro de sus puertas,con la limitación de respetar los códigos de
ética naturista, (solo para cruzar la calle pública hasta la playa
es requerido cubrirse) , y posee las comodidades de una casa de campo,
y un entorno que permite disfrutar la playa sin necesidad de utilizar
ningún transporte. Las habitaciones poseen un sencillo estilo
naturista, con su baño,y con las comodidades mínimas, y tienen todas
ellas vista al exterior-

Umgeben von Dünen, dem Meer, Wäldern und einer einzigartigen
Auenlandschaft liegt der FKK-Strand Playa Chihuahua. Das Ziel für alle
Naturliebhaber.
Die Gegend zeichnet sich durch ein ausgeglichenes Klima während aller
vier Jahreszeiten aus. Wohl auch durch den Klimawandel wird es auch in
der kühleren Jahreszeit stetig wärmer, mit Temperaturen, die
gelegentlich im Winter 25°C erreichen. Dies erlaubt somit auch eine
wesentlich längere Strandsaison.
Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Vielzahl an Vögeln, die man an der
Mündung des "El Potrero" beobachten kann: Reiher, Störche, Enten,
Schwarzhals-Schwäne u. v. m., deren Gesang man beim Sonnenaufgang
hören kann.
Ein wahres Paradies für Vogelliebhaber!
Der Ursprung des "El Potrero" befindet sich in der "Lagune del Sauce"
die selbst aus von den aus den Bergen herabfließenden Wässern
gespeist wird. Ein Landstrich der ökologisch intakt und unbelastet
ist.
Dieser Ort liegt wenige Minuten vom internationalen Flughafen von Punta
del Este entfernt.
In einer Viertelstunde sind Städte wie Piriápolis, Maldonado und
Punta del Este erreichbar, die alle Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, wie
Casinos, Einkaufszentren, Kinos usw. bieten, die es aber auch ohne
Außnahme geschafft haben die Ruhe und Stille der abgeschiedenen Lage
zu bewahren.
Es ist ein FKK-Strand , der den Besucher dazu einlädt, im Nacktheit
mit der Natur in Einklang zu bringen. Dieser Ort wird beherrscht vom
Respekt gegenüber den Anderen und den örtlichen Gepflogenheiten.
Hierzu zählt, dass Familien und Menschen aller Altersgruppen offenen
aufeinander zugehen.
Derzeit gibt es zwischen 2000 und 3000 FKK-Anhänger die im Sommer
regelmäßig den Strand besuchen, an dem das Nacktbaden seit den 60er
Jahren üblich ist. Im Jahr 2000 wurde er von der Stadt Maldonado zum
offiziellen FKK- bzw. Clothing-Optional-Strand erklärt.
Vor dieser offiziellen Widmung waren Nudisten immer wieder polizeilich
verfolgt worden, weswegen sie den Naturistenverband Asociación
Uruguaya de Naturismo (Auden)gegründet haben, der als juristische
Person unterstützt von allen Mitgliedern inzwischen mehr als 10 Jahre
existiert.
Über viele Jahre arbeitete dieser übergeordnet unter Wahrung der
Anonymität der Mitglieder, um am Ende die Legalisierung der
Freikörperkultur am Strand von Chihuahua zu erreichen.
Im Jahr 1994 war es endlich möglich den Verband zu bilden und ihn auf
rechtlich einwandfreier Grundlage zu konstituieren.
Heute hat er die Unterstützung der Stadtverwaltung von Maldonado, die,
während des Sommers für die Reinigung des Strandes sorgt und durch
den regelmäßigen Dienst von Rettungsschwimmern für die Sicherheit
der Badenden sorgt.
Auch kann er auf die ständige Präsenz der Küstenwache von Maldonado
zählen, die während der Hauptsaison mehrmals täglich den Strand
besucht und über die Sicherheit an der Küste und die Einhaltung der
guten Sitten wacht.
Während des Sommers der Jahre 2000 und 2001 wurde wegen der
Beschwerden einiger Anwohner, die FKK nicht akzeptierten, wurde der
FKK-Abschnitt um rund 500 Meter verkürzt. Angesichts eines solchen
Unrechts forderte die Auden, gemeinsam mit allen Naturisten, die sich
bei Chihuahua einfinden, die Wiederherstellung des vorherigen Zustandes
und gleichzeitig dass neue Möglichkeiten zum Ausüben der
Freikörperkultur an den Küste Uruguays eröffnet werden sollen. 2006
wurden die reklamierten 500 Meter Strand von der Stadt Maldonado wieder
frei gegeben.
Es ist wichtig, bei den Behörden und den privaten Investoren
aufzuzeigen, dass der Nudismus - entgegen der Meinung einiger
Immobilienhändler - Einnahmemöglichkeiten bietet und weder der Region
schadet, noch den Wert der Grundstücke verringert.
Effekiv schwanken die Grundstückspreise in Chihuahua derzeit zwischen
10 und 120 US-Dollar pro Quadratmeter, abhängig von der Entfernung zum
Meer. Die Parzellen haben eine Mindestgröße von 1000 m², von denen
es sowohl mit Pinien bestandene und solche in der Nähe des Meeres oder
des Baches gibt.
Derzeit betragen die Baukosten rund 300 US-Dollar pro Kubikmeter
umbauten Raumes und dieser Preis kann bei gutem Verhandlungsgeschick
auch niedriger ausfallen.
Die Gegend befindest sich erst am Beginn der Erschließung und bietet
Raum für Beherberhungsbetriebe, gastronomische Einrichtungen etc...
Eine einzigartige FKK-Unterkunft findet man nur wenige Meter vom
Strand der Playa Chihuahua entfernt, das " El Refugio", das als
Familienbetrieb geführt wird. Wegen seiner familiären Atmosphäre
schätzen es FKK-Freunde aus Brasilien, Argentinien, Kanada, den USA
und aus Europa. Dabei handelt es sich um ein großes Haus, mit einer
Vielzahl an Zimmern, in dem Marcela und Ricardo, die Eigentümer und
selbst überzeugte Naturisten ihre Gäste und Freunde aus vielen
Ländern erwarten.
Ricardo und Marcela bieten darüber hinaus an im Gastraum zu Mittag
und zum Abend zu essen, wo sie vorzügliche hausgemachte Pasta, und
andere Speisen, im Kreise der ganzen Familie anbieten.
Ihre Gäste schätzen die Möglichkeit auch innerhalb des Anwesens,
unter der Maßgabe der Grundsätze des Naturismus, auf Kleidung
verzichten zu können (nur Gang zum Strand ist auf der öffentlichen
Straße Bekleidung erwünscht)sowie die Annehmlichkeiten eines
Landhauses in Anspruch zu nehmen, das es erlaubt den Strand zu
genießen, ohne auf ein Verkehrsmittel angewiesen zu sein.
Die Zimmer sind in schlichtem, natürlichen Stil gehalten, mit eigenem
