"User data not up to date" in mobile app

When using the Nature's Notebook mobile app, when I click "SYNC" on the review tab, a message "User data are not up to date" appears at the top of the screen. What do I do to get my observation records submitted to the USA-NPN Database and my account?

When you open your app, go to the Review tab and click that orange bar that says "user data are not up to date!". This will bring up a screen that shows a list of the observations in your account that have not yet synced. Make sure you have data/wifi connection before doing so. Then, on the Preference tab, see if you have it set to sync over wi-fi only. This would affect your records from submitting to the USA-NPN database while in the field/at your site.

I am having the same problem. There are multiple sightings that are not up to date. I sync while I am connected to wifi and I still get the same message. Other sightings sync right away, but some don't. Many of the dates that say they synced are not showing up in my account on the web site. What is going on? It sounds like others are having the same issue.

Under the "Review" tab - click the orange banner at the top with the error message. This will display the records that are incomplete or have not been synced. You should be able to edit them from here and get the records to be submitted.
