For first-time Nature's Notebook users, you will select the checkbox next to the group name you want to observe with from the "Partner Groups" section of the account creation process. For existing I users, once logged in you will go to edit your profile, and scroll to the "Partner Groups" section of your profile. Then scroll through the list to find the group you wish to participate with and select the checkbox next to the group name, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click "Save".

Search Plant & Animal Species to Observe

How do you download a streamlined plant species list?  I have logged into https://mynpn.usanpn.org/npnapps/species , chosen Plants from Oregon

Not sure what to  add into the NAME CONTIANS box?  What does that mean?

Sorting by Sci Name and All Species

How do I then download a plant species list of the 414 species (46 pages of 9 thumbnails) in an excel spread sheet

I tried a download and it produced a list of 1433 species (animals and plants), NOT what I wanted or need.

I would like only plant species in Oregon, preferably only in Lane Co Oregon that are being monitored

I am supervising a Phenology Project (now in our 2nd season) at our local Native Plant Nursery and want to make sure it is a good fit for this platform.  We do need to know the plant species (native) that are being monitored in Oregon, although non-native ones would be interesting as well.

WE currently have our project set up in iNaturalist FBP Native Plant Nursery: Plants · iNaturalist

WE will debrief this year and decide next step.  That is why I am investigating NPN.

Can data from iNaturalist be easily transferred to a NPN project.  I did set up the Nursery Project

Looking forward to your reply.  Thank you   Gail Baker

I have just spent way too much time trying to reset my email address.  I have been a member NPN since 2009
Because I am now retired and do not use my bak...@lanecc.edu any more I would like to change my address.
I was sent a reset message to my lcc.edu address and clicked on the link and ended up in an infinite loop that did NOT let me reset my address.
I was logout of the NPN site.

This is VERY frustrating as I know my way around the computer and sites.
I recall that the clunkiness on the site originally turned me away from using it, has it not improved?

I would appreciate your guidance and an easy way to change my email address on my NPN profile.
Thanks for your assistance.
