Hello!
Does the syncing work in both directions?  When I make observations using my the iPhone app, I do then see them on the webpage (i.e., laptop), but if I use the laptop, they don't appear on my phone.  (Touching "sync" in the app doesn't fix this.)
(I was hoping for an easy way to count how many days I observe each month.  Looking at the calendar in the app seems the easiest way, though not if the syncing doesn't work in both directions.)
Thx1
Paula

I didn't thank you for your reply, Erin, so... thank you!
It ended up be easiest to just scroll through the website version of my observation history, and counting the days.  I'll enter via the app from now on, and perhaps edit, to add my notes via the website.
Thanks for all you do!

Hi Paula,
You're right, when you make observations on the website, they will not show up on the Nature's Notebook app. Currently, the app only sends observations in one direction (from your phone to the database), it can't pull observations from the database. We are definitely aware of this limitation and will try to make improvements to this in the future!

As for an easy way to count how many days you observe each month, if you are an individual observer, observing at a Personal Site, the easiest way is to download your datafile via the link on the bottom right of your Observation Deck. Then you can count the dates in the file. You can also follow the link to Visualize My Data, where you could make a phenology calendar for one or more of your species to see your observations.

If you are observing as part of a Local Phenology Program, there are more ways to see observer activity on the Local Phenology Program Dashboard

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
