Everyone,
I won't mention the location, because so often Lady Slippers get dug up
if the wrong kind of "people" learn where they are, but there's a road
where we monitor the occurrence of the small yellow Lady Slipper, and
except for one record on 29 May 1995, all the previous sightings have
been in early June, but just now they were in bloom at multiple sites
along the road.
Since April's interruption of the extremely early spring by snow, I
haven't been comparing dates, but it looks like we're back on track
earlier than things have been before.
