I am expressing a eukaryotic protein...to confirm the expression of the protein i have transfected HEK 293 cells (3 wells of a 6 well plate) with pVAX having my gene (7 ug) using lipofectamine...after 48 h i have collected cells and performed western blotting, but could not able to detect...is it possible to detect the expressed protein by this methods or in vitro translation is the only method....
