I attended the GOP Executive meeting last night in Raleigh.  The state GOP convention is going to be held in Raleigh June 12-14, 2009 at the Raleigh Convention Center.

I was under the impression it was in Asheville as well.  I had people in the party, and elected officials telling me as such.  Oh well, Raleigh it is then.

This is minor, but I noticed that it said the state convention will be in Raleigh this year.  I was given to understand it'd be in Asheville, but I guess that was just a rumor.

Start pushing NOW for people to attend the convention cycle. 

Coordinators also have access to contact info for all the C4L ers in their area.

We cannot wait until the last minute here. We have to start collecting warm  bodies for the convention cycle right now. 

We ALSO need to come up with candidates for every chair, including state chair.
