Just got my new property tax reappraisal, it went up 150% from 3 years ago. Meanwhile my neighbor's house nearly 3 times the square footage with over 7 times more identical terrain land is $27,000 less tax value than mine. Seems fair, right? Must be some more of that "affordable housing" the commies are always talking about. Good thing I have been unemployed with zero income for the last 4 months or it might be a problem. GO BIDEN!

i would present to them those details exemplifying your neighbor’s house & property, and do the math for them using that data, then give them the corrected tax amount equal to your conclusion.

Yeah, I'm on it, taking pictures now. They have my attached open shed where I keep the motorcycles and the space where my water heater and storage outside the house with a 5' ceiling as "living space", added 4' on to the width of the house, added central air conditioning that I never had, it's all bullshit. Looking at neighbors' properties valuation, I seem to have the most expensive property, despite having by far the smallest house and having the least amount of land. The bastards taxed me out of one place in 1990 already by raising my taxable value over $100,000, fuck Buncombe county.
