hub/spoke example

I am looking to use NATS with Jetstream in a hub/spoke world that has poor connections between the hub and the spokes.  I've spent the day reading documentation, but I am still having problems with 2.12 setting a simple example up.  Please point me to something I can start with (I've found https://docs.nats.io/running-a-nats-service/configuration/leafnodes)  In summary,

• NATS 2.12
• Jetstream
• Hub/Spoke
• Hub should run without spokes connected
• Spokes should run without hub connected
• No need for communication between spokes
