NATS payload issue

Hi , 

I was facing an issue of maximum payload violation error , so i have created a new NATS.conf file like this 

/home/ec2-user/gnatsd -c /home/ec2-user/nats.conf

After this my services are not connecting to NATS , its always say connecting to Transporter and eventually doesn't connect .Can anyone helps or suggest something here .

So if I understand correctly, you use not to have a config but had the issue with maximum payload (which default is 1MB).

Then you used a configuration file, presumably to increase the max payload value, and then your applications cannot even connect?

Would you mind sharing the content of the configuration file?

Hi, 

i have added following in my nats.conf :

maximum_payload = 3MB (in bytes)

port = 4222

So after these changes the connection with Nats is very unpredictable .

I see nothing in this config file that would explain it.

You could try to run with `-DV` and see if some more debug/error information is reported.

You also need to print the actual error returned by the NATS library in your service when failing to connect. It may give some clue too.

Thanks Ivan .Seems like there were some unhandled cases which were causing nats time out .
