Can you change the default layout

I have a layout I prefer but I have to manually load it each time I start a new project. Is there a way to set a new default layout?

In the Layout menu you can save layout to a .nl file . In the preferences, General tab , there’s a “Default Layout” option where you can specify your .nl file you want by default

My Natron crashes every time i try import or export a layout, does this happen to anybody else?
