Hello, I'm new to Natron so excuse my ignorance.

I have a 16-bit PNG input sequence that I want to composite over a plain white background. I then want to output the result as an 8-bit PNG sequence. In the Viewer this look right, but when rendering via WriteNode, the output retains the input's transparency, rather than the white I expected to be merged in.

I've made a screenshot of my node graph and each node's settings: http://i.imgur.com/zWn1bA3.png

Any suggestions?

I think I figured the problem out myself. The state of the image sequence's alpha channel is retained in the merged result, so the are where the white background is merged in, is still 100% transparent. I added a Shuffle node and manually set the alpha channel to be opaque.

For future reference, please let me know whether that's the best way to go about it. Thanks!

A bug related to this was fixed today. Please try again with a recent snapshot.
