Hi,
If you're interested in the cooking and nutrition classes I emailed about before, I was wrong about how to sign up.  Please don't call the front desk--just sign up on line at this web site:

Hi everybody,
Just wanted to let you know that NCNM's campus clinic will be hosting a free 4-class series of cooking and nutrition classes from The Cancer Project.  The classes are geared towards cancer survival and prevention, and emphasize low-fat, plant based foods .  Class participants get to sample all the dishes, which are of course made with organic ingredients.
The classes will be on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm starting on 11/18, skipping Thanksgiving, then resuming for the next three Thursdays.  Patients, students, staff, or any other community members can register for the classes by contacting the front desk (503.552.1551).  There is a suggested donation of $10 per class, but it truly is just a suggestion.  The classes may be offered again next year, but with an actual fee of $10 per class.

November 18,,  Introduction to How Foods Fight Cancer

December 2, Fueling up on Low-Fat, High-Fiber Foods

December 9, Discovering Dairy and Meat Alternatives

December 16, Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Healthy Weight Control

Healthy eating to you all!
