Howdy Natives
If rumors are to be believed, winter is on its way. With any luck, that may actually mean snow and skiing. The 2016 DNR trail and parking passes are now available ($25 for a trail pass and $28 for a parking pass) by calling the DNR at (888) 936-7463. Or on-line with an additional donation to the State Parks Friends association at http://fwsponlineshopping.blogspot.com/.
Think snow!

Yes. The $28 pass gets your vehicle in the park (which is a tremendous value for guys like you who drive beastly machines). Then the $25 pass gets your arse on the trail. And again, with your powerful glutes, that seems like a great deal. In fact it’s a bit unfair that those of us who have ankles narrower than our skis have to pay as much as those of you in the big wheels track club. But either way, $25 for a year on the state trail system is one of the better bargains around.
