Dear Members of national workshop VAW mailing list,

Open Institute in collaboration with Association for Progressive
Communications (APC), will design 16 x 16 presentations to publish on
GenderIT Bulletin in September that feature Asian Countries. The issue
is around ICTs and Violence Against Women.

Now I would like to ask for your contribution to the 16 x 16
presentation on the issue of ICTs and violence against women. The names
of organizations which share presentations will be mention on those
presentations.

Here are some examples of 16 x 16 presentation by other countries

GenderIT Bulleting is one activities of GenderIT.org. GenderIT.org
emerged from the Association for Progressive Communications Women's
Networking Support Programme's advocacy work in information and
communications technologies (ICTs). The need to have examples of
national policy, gender-sensitive language, tools for lobbying, and an
understanding of the impact of poor or positive policy all within easy
access has been expressed by ICT advocates and policy makers alike.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regard,

Leakhena
