Hi everyone,

In light of the recent federal election and the disenchantment of the 60% of Canadians who voted for change, the debate around Canada`s electoral system and its adequacy has been re-ignited. If you believe we need to re-evaluate and are keen for action on this issue, join us at the rally in your city. Or you can spread the word by sending this information to family and friends or by writing a press release to your local paper (see Ottawa media advisory below).

(all times local)

Ottawa — War Monument at Wellington & Elgin, 2 p.m.
Montreal — Berri Sq. 2 p.m.
Vancouver — Vancouver Public Library, 2 p.m.
Toronto — Queen’s Park, 3 p.m.
Kelowna - Kerry Park, downtown (the Sails sculpture), 2 p.m.
Calgary — Harry Hays Building, 2 p.m.
Whitehorse - Elijah Smith Bldg - corner of Main and Second, noon
Halifax - Province House, 2 p.m.
Charlottetown — Province House, 2 p.m.
St. John`s - Colonial Building, Military Rd, 2 p.m.

If there is no rally where you are, there`s a letter writing campaign, details here.

If you`re opposed to reform please talk about it, whatever you do, remember that even discussing the merits of our voting process is an important step in making it relevant!
