Meal Exchange and Sierra Youth Coalition are accepting applications
from campuses wishing to be part of the campus food systems project!
The application form can be found here:
http://www.tfaforms.com/214890
The first goal of this project is to influence the purchasing policies
of the campus food service provider so that more local, sustainable
food is accessible on campus. To accomplish this we'll be supporting a
select number of campuses as they form Campus Food Strategy Groups,
develop a food charter for their campus and conduct applied student
research. At this time, our hope is to support 5 campuses this year
and an additional 5 next year. Priority will be given to those
campuses that apply early. The deadline is September 30th.
In addition to the development of Campus Food Strategy Groups, we are
looking for more voices to help us develop a “how to” guide for
developing campus food charters based on the work we did during day
three of the National Student Food Summit.
More Information for those wishing to be involved can be found at this
link:

If you want to be part of the ongoing development of the charter, have
suggestions on whom we should connect with or how to improve the
Charter, please take a couple of minutes and let us know.
Please contact Caitlin Colson (

Guptill (
syc.na...@gmail.com) if you have questions or comments.
