F7 - Inactive RxNorm codes

to National Health Care Survey Testing Tool

2 codes from the test data are not available for us from our Library Vendor (FDB). We validated that the codes are not present in the 2017 RxNorm code system on the VSAC website. Can you confirm that it is acceptable to replace the following 2 RxNorm codes from the test data:

- manufacturedMaterial SHALL 316283 Methyldopa 250 MG

- manufacturedMaterial SHALL 317388 Ibuprofen 400 MG

with these active RxNorm codes?

- RXNorm 197956 Methyldopa 250 MG

- RXNorm 197805 Ibuprofen 400 MG

You may use any valid RxNorm code to substitute for another RxNorm code in the test data.
