Hi
The NHCS XML validator returns the attached error when the value element in History of Tobacco Use 2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.22.4.85 entry section has the null Flavor representation. Is this a valid error? Attached is the screenshot of the entry section. Is it because Valueset (CDAR2_IG_NHCS_R1_DSTU1.2 document) 2.16.840.1.113883.11.20.9.41 does not include the Former Smoker smoking status in the 2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.22.4.85 entry section?

Hi,

Which version of the tool/IG are you using?

Thanks,

Hi,

I can’t speak to the original intent of the authors, but looking at the spec, the way conformance statement CONF:1098-16563 is written would seem to require a code attribute and not have any allowances for a nullFlavor to replace it.
