Dear Friends,

Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Sikkim Election Watch have analysed the self-sworn affidavits of all 12 Ministers including Chief Minister from Sikkim State Assembly Elections 2024.

The information is based on the affidavits submitted by the ministers prior to 2024 Sikkim Assembly Elections.

Ministers with Criminal Cases: Out of the 12 ministers analysed, 1 (8%) minister has declared criminal cases against himself.

Financial Background

Crorepati Ministers: Out of the 12 ministers analysed, all 12 (100%) are crorepatis.
Average Assets: The average assets of 12 ministers analysed is Rs 21.72 crores.
Minister with Highest Assets: The minister with the highest declared total assets is Nar Bahadur Dahal from Khamdong-Singtam constituency with assets worth Rs. 74.10 crores.
Minister with Lowest Assets: The minister with the lowest declared total assets is Bhim Hang Limboo from Yangthang constituency with assets worth Rs. 1.58 crore.
