Dear Friends, 

Consequent to the expansion of the cabinet, Rajasthan Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms have analysed the self-sworn affidavits of all 30 Ministers including Chief Minister from Rajasthan State Assembly 2018.

This analysis is based on the affidavits submitted by the candidates prior to the 2018 Assembly elections and bye elections conducted thereafter.

  • Average Assets: The average assets of 30 ministers analysed is Rs 13.97 crores.
  • Minister with Highest Assets: The minister with the highest declared total assets is Anjana Udailal from Nimbahera constituency with assets worth Rs. 107.87 crores.
  • Minister with Lowest Assets: The minister with the lowest declared total assets is Shakuntala Rawat from Bansur constituency with assets worth Rs. 28.15 lakhs.
  • Liabilities: A total of 22 ministers have declared liabilities out of which the minister with the highest liabilities is Ashok of Hindoli constituency with Rs. 21.41 crores of liabilities.

Other Background details (Education, Gender, Age)

  • Ministers’ Education:  11 (37%) ministers have declared their educational qualification to be between 10th and 12th standard while 19 (63%) ministers have declared having an educational qualification of graduate or above.
  • Ministers’ Age:  A total of 10(33%) ministers have declared their age to be between 31-50 years while 20(67%) ministers have declared their age to be between 51- 80 years.
