Dear Friends,

Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Delhi Election Watch have analysed the self-sworn affidavits of 7 Ministers including Chief Minister, sworn in on 20 February 2025 for the Delhi State Assembly.


The information is based on the affidavits submitted by the ministers prior to the 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections.

Criminal Background

  • Ministers with Criminal Cases: Out of the 7 ministers analysed, 5 (71%) ministers have declared criminal cases against themselves. 
  • Ministers with Serious Criminal Cases: 1(14%) minister has declared a serious criminal case against himself.

  • Minister with Highest Assets: The minister with the highest declared total assets is Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden constituency with assets worth Rs. 248.85 crores.
