   After hosting their 2nd annual Feast of the Holly Innocents Retreat, with scripture scholar Wes Howard-Brook   https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/iowa-peace-list/ZcCnR1eF5nE , the DM Catholic Worker and Vets for Peace lead a short witness and 'line crossing' at the main entrance to the IA Air National Guard Drone Command Center in DM. The witness was cut short because of the cold,windy and ice conditions.
   The group held two banners with graphics.  One read "Herod Killed the Infants. (Matt. 2:16 ) Today  DM Armed Drone Command  Kills Them Too!" The 2nd read " Celebrate Christmas … Shut Down DM's Drone Command Center!"
   There was one arrest. DMCW Frank Cordaro entered onto the base, walked up the drive to the main gate and was intimidatingly stopped by a National Guard base security person. Frank was hand cuffed and detained in the guard gate house until the Des Moines police arrived.
   Soon after the DM police arrive, they arrested Frank for trespassing, they put him in a police car and drove him off site. Frank's arresting officer decided to give Frank a citation, similar to a speeding ticket, to avoid having Frank spending a night in jail.  Frank was given a Jan  appear in Polk County Court Jan. 17.  Stay tuned...
