Hi,

I've built an experiment that uses a single strain gauge on a cantilever beam. There are three of these beams, each with it's own gauge (350 ohm). I need a signal amplifier/excitation device to power the strain gauges and give a working input to a USB-6009. Does anyobdy have any recommendations on what we should be looking to purchase?

Thanks!!

Hi,

Here's the product page that has all National Instruments devices capable of strain gauge measurements.
However, I would like to point out that the SCXI version of the modules, requires an SCXI chassis , and the SCXI chassis is connected to a 68 pin DAQ device.
At the bottom of the product page, there's a phone number and a " Talk to an expert " links. I recommend using one of those to contact one of National Instruments Technical representatives.
