problems with upgrading controller and MXI cards

I've recently upgraded my controllers and MXI cards in my PXI rack and now am experiencing communications issues.
My original hardware was controller # PXI-8176 with MXI-3 cards. I'm now using a PXI-8106 with MXI-4 cards. In my second rack I have 8 DMM cards. The DMMs are PXI-4070.
When using the PXI-8176 and the MXI-3 cards, communications with the DMMs are consistent. If I use either the PXI-8106 or the MXI-4 cards, the DMM communications seem to be inconsistent.
Has anyone had similar problems?
