Force writing to OPC server

I have to write values to the certain item of OPC server. When I write certain value to the Item, for example turn on the pump (write value "1") and OPC item remains in that state. If command not proceeded I want to send same command again. But I cannot write the same value although OPC server expect it.
I use Pot object with remote URL connection to OPC item (I have to use this type of connection because of my internal logic). OPC server holds last written value and I can read it. When I set Pot object to same value nothing changed. I know that Lookout is "Event Driven" oriented but is there a way to force writing of same value ?

If you input the same value, Lookout will not update it to the server.
I cannot find a good way to force it to write again, since Lookout doesn't think of a same value as an event. To input the same value is just like doing nothing. What you can do is to turn the pot or switch to last value and operate again. Does this work?
